The Ferizaj Regional Police has called for increased caution for all drivers driving on the mountain roads of the region, especially on the Shtërpcë–Brezovicë, Shtërpcë–Prevalle and Kaçanik–Hani i Elezit–Glloboçicë axes, due to difficult weather conditions.

According to the announcement, the rainfall has caused wet roads, limited visibility and an increased risk of traffic accidents. In some mountainous segments there may be rockfalls, landslides and other obstacles that could endanger vehicle traffic, reports the Telegraph.

Police appeal to drivers to show special care while driving and to respect these traffic safety tips:

Keep your lights on to improve visibility and make yourself more visible to other participants.

Reduce speed, as wet roads require longer braking distances.

Avoid phone use and distractions while driving.

Keep sufficient distance from vehicles in front.

The statement emphasizes that the current weather conditions require greater responsibility and caution in traffic, while the police's appeal is clear: "Safety is in your hands."

For any need, incident or traffic accident, citizens can contact the Kosovo Police at 192, or go to the nearest police station. /Telegrafi/
