Espionage suspect Fatmir Sheholli appears in court

Fatmir Sheholli, suspected of espionage, has been brought before the court for the assignment of a security measure.
The news was confirmed to the Telegraph by the spokesperson of Basic Court in Pristina, Mirlinda Gashi.
"A hearing is being held," Gashi said.
Meanwhile, today the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office filed a request for the imposition of a pre-trial detention measure at the Basic Court in Pristina, against Fatmir Sheholli, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of "Espionage".
The news was announced to the Telegraph by the spokesperson for the Special Prosecution of Kosovo, Arbnora Luta.
Otherwise, political analyst Fatmir Sheholli was arrested on Thursday by the Kosovo Police, in cooperation with the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.
Sheholli's arrest was made on well-founded suspicions of involvement in espionage activities. /Telegrafi/
