On Friday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway, resulting in the deaths of two women.
Kosovo Police announced today in its 24-hour report that the two victims are Albanian citizens.
"Ibrahim Rugova Highway, 12.12.2025 – 07:40. As a result of a traffic accident that occurred between a car and a truck, two female Albanian citizens who were in the car lost their lives," the police report states.
The truck driver, a Kosovo citizen, also suffered bodily injuries and was sent for medical treatment.
In addition to police units, medical teams and firefighters also arrived at the scene, while by order of the prosecutor, the bodies were sent to the IML for autopsy.
Meanwhile, Top Channel wrote that the victims are Eorda Sinollari and Elizabeta Katija. The latter is known in the media as an economic expert and vice president of the Albanian Diaspora Business Chamber.
The other victim, Eorda Sinollari, worked as a business consultant in Germany. /Telegraph/
