Fatal accident in Carraleva, 42-year-old surgeon from Suhareka dies

Updated: A 42-year-old man has died as a result of an accident that occurred in Carraleva.

It is reported that this is Jetmir Gashi, a vascular surgeon from Suhareka.

Meanwhile, the police are investigating the cause of the fatal accident.

A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday in Carraleva, where one person lost his life.

The Police Spokesperson for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi, confirmed the case, stating that a car and a bus were involved in the accident.

"Tonight, on February 13, 2025, at around 18:25 PM, the police in Ferizaj notified the Prizren Regional Police of a traffic accident in Carraleva. A car and a bus were involved in this accident. The necessary teams were immediately called to the scene," Bytyqi stated.

According to information from the Regional Traffic Police Patrol-Prizren, at around 19:00 it was confirmed that the accident ended in a fatality, taking the life of JG, a 42-year-old from Suhareka.

The necessary teams are at the scene, including officials from the Suhareka Police Station and the Prizren Regional Traffic.
