Famous actress Heather Graham said she is happy not to have children: I feel free

American actress Heather Graham said in a new interview that she does not regret her decision not to have children and appreciated the fact that many other women are making the same decision.

"There were times when I wondered what it would be like if I had had children. I can say that 80 percent of the time I'm happy not to have children, I feel free and good about it, and 20 percent of the time I wonder what it would be like. You have to appreciate the life you have," she told The Guardian.

She added that it is very good that more and more women are expressing their desire not to have children.

"Society says you have to have children, but why? If you're not a person who pleases others, what do you really want?" she said.

She also said that she spent most of her life trying to please others and that in her forties she began to change her perspective on life and romantic relationships.

"I realized I could just ask myself what I wanted and make myself happy," she said. /Telegraph/
