Famous actor Will Ferrell has been forced to take an unexpected break from filming his upcoming Netflix comedy series after suffering an injury.
Although the incident did not occur on set, filming has been temporarily halted until Ferrell recovers.
Ferrell reportedly suffered an off-season injury and was unable to participate in filming scenes scheduled for this week at a casino near Los Angeles.
Although the nature of the injury has not been disclosed, sources say it is not serious.
"The injury is minor and Will is expected to return to set very soon, once he receives permission to return," TMZ reports.
In the new, yet untitled series, Ferrell plays the role of a "fictional golf legend," while on screen he will be opposed by Luke Wilson in the role of another professional golfer, who has already defeated him twice in major tournaments.
