Failure of the constitutive session - LDK says 20 of their MPs were present in the hall, but LVV blocked it again

After the Speaker of the Assembly, Avni Dehari, closed the constitutive session by not putting the report on the verification of the mandates of the deputies to a vote, the party, the Democratic League of Kosovo, reacted.

According to the reaction published on Facebook, they accused the Vetëvendosje Movement of once again blocking the session for the constitution of the Parliament.

The reaction further states that all 20 deputies of the Democratic League of Kosovo Parliamentary Group were present, but that "Unfortunately, the chairman of this session, from the ranks of the LVV, violated the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly by initially calling for political consultations, without being authorized and without having a mandate for such a thing."

According to the reaction, it is said that the scenario of the constitutive meeting was not respected, even though there were conditions for it to continue where this session was interrupted on April 15.

"There were 100 deputies present, so there was a quorum to continue voting on the Committee's report, where the session was interrupted. Today's actions by the LVV reveal their de facto blockage of the constitution of the Assembly and the establishment of institutions," the LDK's reaction states. /Telegraph/
