KSF strengthens ties with Iowa National Guard to advance professional capacities

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received in an official meeting the Director of the Army National Guard of the United States of America, Lieutenant General Jonathan M. Stubbs, accompanied by Major General Levon E. Cumpton and his delegation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the excellent cooperation between the KSF and the US National Guard Bureau, with particular emphasis on the partnership with the Iowa National Guard. The American support in building the professional capacities of the KSF, developing joint trainings, and advancing interoperability with international partners was highly appreciated.
Lieutenant General Jashari expressed gratitude for the United States' continued support for the Kosovo Security Force, describing this partnership as essential for the development, modernization, and professionalization of the KSF.
The meeting also emphasized that the State Partnership Program (SPP) between the Iowa National Guard and the KSF represents an example of success, with concrete results and joint activities in various fields.
