The IRIB journalist said he was reporting from Hor Square, near Jomhuri Avenue, a popular shopping area that was also targeted, according to reports.
A Tehran resident said she endured a terrifying night of attacks, according to the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
"When the next shots came, we heard something falling... We went to the basement, when we came out we saw people all around, bleeding," she said.
Video from the Iranian Red Crescent Society also shows the destruction on Tehran's Niloofar Street, a largely residential area, with bombed buildings and rubble strewn across the street. /Telegraph/
