Former Kosovo Police Colonel Refki Morina has stated that the suspect in the murder of two brothers in Malisheva had a criminal past before committing the act. According to him, the judicial system should react faster and make punitive decisions in sensitive cases, to prevent other possible crimes.

"Most of the murder cases that have occurred in Kosovo are unfortunately related to people who have had a criminal past. The courts should take faster action in punishing them to prevent other acts," said Morina on the "FIVE" show in Dukagjin.

Meanwhile, lawyer Valdet Hoxha, who also commented on the tragic case, emphasized that the state must urgently create a strategy to address the phenomenon of murders and analyze the profile of the perpetrators who commit such crimes.

"The number of murders is increasing and this requires a serious analysis. The state must study the reasons, the profile of the persons and take concrete preventive measures," said Hoxha.

Security and justice experts agree that institutional negligence, delays in the courts, and the lack of preventive mechanisms are causing such cases to recur with tragic consequences.
