The cooperation between the municipalities of Mitrovica and Kukes is excellent. This is how it was assessed today in Mitrovica, during the meeting between the mayor of Mitrovica, Agim Bahtiri and Bashkim Shehu of the Municipality of Kukës.
According to the communiqué, in addition to the current political and security situation in Mitrovica, other issues of common interest were also discussed.
"We will symbolically start, among other things, the activities to mark the 19th anniversary of the exodus of Albanians, where representatives of the municipality of Rahovec will also participate, while the final of these activities will end on Monday with a large gathering in Kukës", he said. said Bahtiri.
On the other hand, the mayor of Kukes Municipality, Bashkim Shehu, expressed his happiness that he is in Mitrovica today, while he congratulated Bahtir for the good work he is doing for the city of Mitrovica and its citizens.
According to him, this cooperation between these two cities will continue in the future.
"We will continue to cooperate excellently with each other in the future and this cooperation will extend to many areas that are in the interest of the citizens", emphasized Shehu.
Bahtiri and Shehu walked through the streets of the city of Mitrovica, while symbolically starting the marking of the 19th anniversary of the exodus, by placing wreaths of flowers on the statues of heroes and martyrs in Mitrovica. /telegraph/
