This Saturday, December 13, the Pogradec police escorted three people who were carrying out illegal excavations at Illyrian tombs in the Selca area, in the Mokrë area.

Tv Klan reports that police have seized a metal detector and the vehicle with which the three people went to this archaeological site, which dates back to the 4th century BC, at the scene.

Incidents like today's are not happening for the first time.

The Illyrian tombs of Selca have often become the subject of illegal excavations by those seeking precious metals but also archaeological objects.
