The Vice President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ardian Gjini, stated on Debat Plus that his party would not participate in the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, even if it were invited.

Gjini emphasized that AAK had a clear stance not to assist, as he expressed it, in any variant that would enable Kurti to continue governing.

According to him, Kurti is "an extremely destructive person" and represents a concept that is "crumbling Kosovo."

"We have had a stance of not going even if he invites us, we have not wanted in any way to help Albin Kurti in any way to continue governing because we have been convinced more than others that he is a very destructive person, it is a concept that is crumbling Kosovo," he said.

Regarding the meeting between AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj and President Vjosa Osmani, Gjini stressed that no votes were requested for the election of the president at that meeting and that this issue was not discussed.

He added that, in his assessment, Kurti did not intend to elect the president at this stage and that the country is sliding towards institutional degradation and ongoing political crisis.

"Mr. Kurti did not intend to elect the president at this stage at all. I am concerned that we are slipping into a situation where the very idea of what we are doing, what politics is, what people are serving the country, is crumbling. There is total institutional degradation, there is a permanent crisis in Kosovo, a crisis that continues, we are not just talking about 2025, 2026, we are talking about continuous crises that have been produced by Mr. Kurti," he declared.

"Absolutely the main culprit of this crisis is Albin Kurti," Gjini further stated.
