Eurovision fans can't believe how old Poland's representative is

Poland is represented at this year's Eurovision Song Contest by Justyna Steczkowska with the song Gaja.

Justyna made it to the final of the competition, and her performance in the semi-final garnered 1.8 million views.

Many fans of the Eurovision Song Contest were surprised to learn how old the Polish artist is.

Specifically, Justyna was born in 1972, which means she will turn 53 in a few months.

"That woman from Poland is 52 years old", "I still can't believe Justyna Steczkowska is 52 years old", "Please? A Polish woman is 52 years old?", "The sexiest 52-year-old of all time", are some of the comments.

This is not her first time competing in Eurovision. She represented Poland in 1995 with the song Sama and finished in 18th place.

Steczkowska broke the record by competing again at Eurovision. That is, 30 years have passed since her Eurovision debut, which makes her the performer who had the longest break between the first and second selection contests. In doing so, she broke the 24-year record set by Anna Vissi between her appearances for Cyprus in 1982 and Greece in 2006.
