The Mayor of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, has reacted to the situation created by the lack of an approved budget, emphasizing that the municipality has acted in full compliance with the legislation.
He said that, although Gjilan is facing similar challenges to the capital, financial management has been regular and without exceeding obligations.
According to Hysen, operating with 1/12 of the previous year's budget has been challenging, but the municipality has not created new obligations without financial cover.
He announced that the constitutive session of the Municipal Assembly will be called very soon, where the transfer of own funds to cover existing obligations is also expected to be voted on.
The Mayor emphasized that this step aims to stabilize the budgetary situation and the normal functioning of municipal projects and services. /Telegrafi/
