The son of the country's former president, Hashim Thaçi, Endrit Thaçi, has said that he is very optimistic about his father's acquittal from the charges filed by the Special Prosecution of the Specialized Chambers.

Thaçi, through an Instagram story, said that he is counting the days until his father and his friends will leave the Special Court building in The Hague.

'Optimistic. Counting the days until my dad and his friends come out of this building. The sun will rise again,' he wrote. /Telegraph/
