Striker Endrick has spoken openly about the difficulties of his first spell at Real Madrid, revealing that the most difficult moment for him was the confirmation that he would miss the FIFA Club World Cup, which took place in the United States of America.

The young Brazilian striker suffered a hamstring injury towards the end of last season, which was aggravated during training sessions before the tournament.

As a result, he was sidelined for several months and was unable to participate in the competition at all. In a recent interview, Endrick said that it was the hardest moment of his career.

"Confirmation that I would miss the Club World Cup in the United States. That I wouldn't be able to play for a few months."

"It's the moment when you realise you won't be able to compete. Losing is bad, but it's part of football. We win and we lose. Everyone does it. Few win trophies."

"Nobody wins all the time. But injuries can take you away from football completely," he declared.

Meanwhile, Endrick is aiming to find his best form at Lyon, in the hope of receiving an invitation from Carlo Ancelotti for the 2026 World Cup.Telegrafi/
