The process of verifying the envelopes with votes, coming from Serbia, was interrupted around 11:00, as a result of which it is reported that about 26 officials who were in charge of counting the envelopes were poisoned.

CEC spokesperson Valimr Elezi clarified that the poisoning did not happen in the Vote Counting Center but in the Ministry of Infrastructure

"For clarification, the event did not take place in the Counting and Results Center, but in the space of the building of the Ministry of Infrastructure where the voting service is located. The work at QNR is continuing normally", said Elezi.

The Prosecutor and the Police are at the scene conducting investigations.
