Unreliable election material is being distributed today and tomorrow to Municipal Election Commissions. With just a few days left before the elections, the SEC announces that final preparations are being made for Sunday's voting.

"In accordance with the election deadlines, the SEC will distribute reliable election material on Thursday and Friday. The delivery is carried out under the security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in accordance with the previously approved plan. On Thursday, voter lists and ballots will be delivered to the Municipal Election Commissions, while on Friday, biometric identification devices will be delivered," said Boris Kondarko, Chairman of the SEC.

Reliable material, including ballot boxes, will be secured by the police until their delivery to the SEC one day after the elections. The SEC announces that the method of publishing the results will be as in past electoral processes.

"After the publication of the first unofficial results that we will receive in electronic form and which will be updated and published live during the election night after the end of voting, the next day, Monday, the SEC plans to receive the original election material. By the end of the day, on Monday evening, the SEC will publish the first official results based on the original minutes," said Boris Kondarko, Chairman of the SEC.

So far, the SEC has granted 1341 accreditations to monitor the elections, for 700 local monitors, 639 international monitors and 2 foreign journalists. /Alsat/
