Edi Rama's wife, Linda: I cook myself, I don't have a nanny for the child - I did what I believed in

Linda Rama, human rights activist and wife of Prime Minister Edi Rama, shared a personal and professional story in a panel held as part of the International Investment Forum taking place in Tirana.

In her sincere and direct speech, she revealed the challenges she faced in trying to maintain her personal and professional identity, following her husband's appointment as head of the Albanian government.

"I realized then that I had to maintain my professional and personal identity. How did I do it? It was very challenging," she said.

Linda Rama emphasized that one of the biggest difficulties was overcoming the skepticism of the people around her. “I told everyone that I would continue to be the same person as before and work in the same field as before, but it was very difficult for them to believe it,” she said.

Sharing aspects of her daily life, she revealed that although she doesn't drive herself or keep a fixed schedule, she is dedicated to family life. "I cook for my child myself," said Linda, emphasizing that her life is much simpler than one might perceive.

"People can't connect this kind of narrative to the wife of someone so powerful," she concluded, revealing to the public a previously unknown side of her life, beyond protocol and public opinion. /Telegraph/
