The European Union Office in Kosovo and the OSCE Mission have called it unacceptable. the language of the member of the Vetevendosje Movement at the CEC, Sami Kurteshi to journalists and the Kosovo Journalists Association.

The response of the European Union Office in Kosovo states that media freedom must be protected in every democratic society.


"The EU in Kosovo condemns the attack and the language used by the LVV member of the Central Election Commission, Sami Kurteshi, who labeled the Association of Journalists of Kosovo - AGK as an 'alliance of criminal groups' and demands that such practices end. Media freedom must be protected in every democratic society - the European Union will continue to support Kosovo in its development," the reaction states.


The OSCE Mission in Kosovo has called Kurtesh's behavior unacceptable.

"Unacceptable behavior towards journalists by the member of the Central Election Commission, Sami Kurteshi (LVV). Media freedom and responsible public discourse are essential for Kosovo's democracy. Political representatives in independent bodies must uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect," the reaction states.



Otherwise, during the week, the LVV member of the CEC, Sami Kurteshi, had a clash with journalists at one of the CEC meetings.

He also, in a Facebook post, labeled the media as "criminal groups." /Telegraph/
