Durmishi: Prices are falling, I see no reason to take any measures

In December, there was a drop in food and beverage prices, and the same was observed in early January, so there is no reason for any measures.
This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmisi, responding to a question regarding measures to reduce or stabilize inflation.
As he says, if there is an enormous increase in prices, as there has been in the past, measures will be taken, but at this point, he emphasizes that such a thing is not necessary.
"At the moment, we see no reason to take any measures, to limit the gross profit margin or to limit prices. We are monitoring the situation every day, we are in communication with representatives of the Institute of Higher Education, if necessary, as we have reacted in the past, we will react this year as well."
But, in December, let me emphasize once again, in the food and beverage sector, inflation, i.e. prices, decreased by 0.4 percent and I am convinced, I believe that this trend will continue this year as well," says Besar Durmishi. /Telegrafi/
