Dumani testifies to the murder of Dorjan Shkoza, Diva: I have recordings of you meeting with MPs

The next hearing for the mega-trial of the "Golden Bullet" case was held at the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC).

In this session, the repentant justice official, Nuredin Dumani, continued his testimony, providing details about the murder of Dorjan Shkoza and Anxhelo Avdija.

Dumani described his meetings with Henrik Hoxhaj and Festim Qoli, explaining the organization of the assassination and the payments made for Shkoza's execution.

"I met Henrik Hoxhaj for the first time in December 2019. Festim Qoli had told me about him when I got out of prison for the first time, or the second time, I don't remember exactly. I had been arrested for stealing two cars in Tirana. When I got out of prison, I told Festim about a police chief from police station number 6, who had hit me several times when I was arrested. Later, I found out that he had been killed. I told Festim: 'It's good that Dritan Lamaj was killed, because he took revenge on me in vain,'" said Dumani

Dumani explained that in the first meeting with Henrik Hoxhaj at the "Diplomat" hotel in Tirana, the assassination that was about to occur was discussed.

"At that time, Festim Qoli was wanted for the murder of Elvis Deda. In the meeting between me and Henrik Hoxha in Tirana, at the 'Diplomat' hotel, we talked about the assassination that was going to happen. The three of us also met on Festim Qoli's birthday, but I didn't have any conversation with Henrik that night because he was a cork. In the second meeting, Festim and I came to Tirana, to Bllok, where Henrik lived. We went to the 'Diplomat' hotel and stayed there for about an hour and 30-40 minutes. After that, we went to a shop behind 'Tajvan', where encrypted phones were sold. I gave Henrik 5 thousand euros for such a phone. I had an encrypted phone with the code 'Covid19'. Then, he told me: 'Come, I will give 95 thousand euros for the murder of Dorjan Shkoza in Durrës.' "The other person who would be involved was Eljo Bitri. I had informed Henriku about this. I promised Elio 35 thousand euros for participating in the murder," he said.

According to Dumani, Klevis Alla and Asllan Plaku were also involved in the assassination attempt on Shkoza, with Alla playing the role of informant.

"Klevis Alla, on the day of the incident, came to my house several times. It was the time of the pandemic and he came and went often. We had planned the assassination the day before, but it did not happen because our car broke down. A few days before the murder, I spoke with Klevis Alla and told him the plan. I had Dorjan Shkoza as a friend. We never had any physical conflict, neither I nor my brother, Dashnori. Eljo Bitri stayed at my house before Dorjan Shkoza's murder, he even slept there for two or three days. It was the time of Covid and he could not move freely from Elbasan," said Dumani.

Dumani also stated that he had known Eljo Bitri since 2013-2014 and that they had committed a robbery together in 2017 in a village in Berat.

Tensions in the courtroom: Enver Diva claims new evidence

During the hearing, a moment of tension was caused by Enver Diva, who stood up in frustration and declared that he has evidence that Dumani has collaborated with the justice system to put Talos' friends in prison.

"I have my own proof that this would put all of Talos' friends in prison. I have it recorded with facts and evidence that judges and deputies have come to meet Nuredin Dumani. There are 120 minutes of recording."
