On October 10, 2025 at 18:00 PM, Dukagjini Bookstore will officially open its newest location in the city of Peja, in Martyrs' Square opposite the Dukagjini Hotel.

This event marks an important step in the long journey of one of the most well-known and traditional bookstores in Kosovo, which for decades has become a symbol of books, knowledge and culture.

To celebrate this opening, from 10 to 19 October, every product of the new bookstore in Peja – from books to accessories – will be offered with 20% discount, a gesture of thanks to loyal readers and an invitation to new visitors.

Dukagjini bookstore is not just a place to buy books. Since 2000, when it first opened its doors in Prishtina, it has been one of the pillars of reading culture in Kosovo. In difficult times for the country, Dukagjini preserved the spirit of knowledge and offered a space where books were always present. Over the years, it has become an inseparable name for book lovers, expanding its presence with the opening of a new point in Prishtina Mall in 2023, and now Peja is added to this map of reading culture.

The opening of a new bookstore in Peja is no coincidence. This city has a rich cultural and educational tradition and a community of readers that has always valued books. Location: Martyrs' Square, opposite Dukagjini Hotel makes the new point easy to find and visit, whether by the citizens of Peja or by the visitors who turn their eyes to this city every year. For readers, this means more access to the books and products they need, while for the city, a new space where culture can develop even further.

On the shelves of the Dukagjini Bookstore, readers can find a wide range of publications: from classics of world literature to the newest Albanian authors, from academic and school books to dictionaries and reference publications, from children's books full of beautiful illustrations to accessories and gifts. This diversity has made Dukagjini special, because it is not just a bookstore, but a space where everyone finds something for themselves, regardless of age or profession.

At a time when the screen often dominates daily life, books remain an irreplaceable source of knowledge, inspiration, and peace of mind.

And a city with a new bookstore is always a richer city.
