Drug distribution network in Pristina is hit

The police, specifically the Anti-Drug Unit in the Pristina Region, after operational investigations and information received about the suspected criminal activity of the person with the initials (AB), has successfully carried out a police operation in the Muhaxherët neighborhood, in which two people and a vehicle were detained.

During the search, 117.8 grams of marijuana in a single package and 24 small packages with 26 grams of marijuana ready for sale were found and confiscated from suspect AB.

A small package containing 1 gram of marijuana was found in the car of the second person, Sh.I.


Following the order of the Custodian Prosecutor, a search was also conducted in the apartment and basement of suspect AB, where 79.7 grams of marijuana divided into packages for sale, a digital scale, two packages of snus, and a telephone were also found in the basement.

All material evidence has been confiscated by the Regional Forensic Unit - Pristina.

The suspect AB was detained for 48 hours by order of the Prosecutor, while the person Sh.I was interviewed as a witness.

The Kosovo Police remains committed to the fight against drugs and organized crime, taking concrete measures to prevent and punish illegal activities, as well as bringing all persons involved to justice. /Telegraph/
