The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, with support from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kosovo, concluded the first-ever Sharkathon, a unique demonstration of local innovation in drone technology.
Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, wrote that together with the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce, Arian Zeka, they participated in this event where they emphasized to the attendees the importance of promoting local innovation and building strategic partnerships in defense technology.
"Ten talented developers and teams presented their drone prototypes, demonstrating Kosovo's growing potential in advanced technology and innovation in defense. Since this is just the beginning, other activities will follow in the coming weeks to further promote cooperation and investment in this emerging sector," stated Minister Maqedonci,
He further wrote that "I express our gratitude to the members of the KSF and the American Chamber for this commitment, as well as to the officials of the Innovation and Training Park in Prizren for making their wonderful facilities available for this event." /Telegraph/
