The students, who have been protesting since the end of last year, began their discontent after a serious tragedy that occurred in Novi Sad, writes N1.


After a shelter collapsed near the Railway Station, 15 people lost their lives, causing anger and concern across the country. This tragic incident served as a turning point, sparking a wave of protests that continues to this day.

Since then, citizens have mobilized in large numbers in various cities across Serbia, especially in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac and several other cities. The protests have gained momentum, with clear demands for justice, transparency and political reform.
