Driver arrested after car plunges into ravine and fails to help passenger who has disappeared

The State Police have clarified the circumstances of the accident that occurred in the early hours of this Saturday in Klos.

According to the police, an Audi vehicle with English license plates, driven by 24-year-old AL, a resident of the village of Fullqet, Klos, and 30-year-old passenger JK, left the road at around 01:30 and ended up in a stream.

Police say the 24-year-old man got out of the car and out of the water, saving himself, while there is no information about the passenger.

This citizen underwent an alcohol test, which revealed that he was driving while intoxicated.

Meanwhile, RENEA divers, police services and firefighters continue searching the Dars village stream to find the passenger, citizen JK.
