Drama in the Dutch football elite: Ajax loses the title, PSV takes the lead with one match left
PSV achieved a convincing victory over Heracles Almelo, while Aachen drew away to Groningen, putting the title out of reach.
In the match held at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven, PSV won convincingly with a score of 4-1.
Goals for PSV came from Malik Tillman and Ismael Saibari, who scored two goals each.

At the same time, Ajax continued their negative streak, with four matches without a win, drawing 2-2 away to Groningen.
Ajax took the lead in the 27th minute with a goal from Anton Gaaei. The home team equalized in the 52nd minute through Thom van Bergen. Ajax regained the lead through Wout Weghorst in the 68th minute and just when it looked like they would win and stay in first place, a shock came for the team from Amsterdam.
Luciano Valente was sent off in the 93rd minute and Groningen were left with one man less, but in the 99th minute, they managed to score through Thijmen Blokzijl for the final score of 2-2.

Ajax fell to second place in the final seconds of the match, while now, reigning champion PSV is first with one more point.
The final round takes place on Sunday, May 18th and will determine the champion. Ajax will host Twente, while PSV will play away against Sparta Rotterdam.
PSV is declared champion even with equal points, as it has a much better goal difference. /Telegraph/
