Unknown perpetrators have recently destroyed and burned dozens of garbage bins in the Old Bazaar of Skopje, informs the Public Enterprise "Municipal Sanitation-Skopje".
From there they add that the waste bins were placed a few months ago, more precisely in October of last year, at the request of the Association of Trades of the Bazaar, in order to raise the level of hygiene in the Old Bazaar, which is a tourist site in the center of the city.
"During the installation of the small waste bins, we sent a message that we expect citizens, with their attitude and actions, to keep them functional and undamaged for a long time, while today we demand that the destruction of the equipment stop immediately, taking into account the fact that during 2019, 137 containers for waste disposal were burned, while since the beginning of the year, six containers for waste disposal have been burned," said the director of "Municipal Hygiene", Abdusamed Shabani. /Telegraph/
