Doncic invites Davies to Real Madrid: I'll give you the shirt if you come
The Los Angeles Lakers have released a video of the match between their basketball player Luka Doncic and Bayern Munich footballer Alphonso Davies.
The Slovenian and the Canadian exchanged jerseys and had a brief conversation.
"Are you coming to Real? I'll give you this shirt if you come," Doncic asked. "It seems like nothing," Davies replied, after which the two of them laughed and took a photo together.
Doncic began his professional career at Real Madrid and is still a fan of the Madrid club, both in basketball and football.
In the NBA, he played for the Dallas Mavericks, who sent him to the LA Lakers in a shocking trade this year.
Davies is an excellent left-back. He played in Vancouver before moving to Bayern in 2019 for 14 million euros. He has played 226 games for the Munich club so far, scoring 14 goals and assisting 34.
He had been linked with Real for months, but he nevertheless renewed his contract with Bayern until 2030 at the beginning of February this year. Transfermarkt values his value at 50 million euros. /Telegraph/
