The White House has posted a series of informal messages, memes and images on X celebrating the military operation in Venezuela, where Nicolas Maduro was captured by US forces.

They have a very different tone from past presidencies.

In one of them, "FAFO" is used to emphasize the idea that Donald Trump is serious when it comes to foreign policy.

The acronym, which means "go around and find out," was used by US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth during a press conference on Friday, in which he made this scathing assessment of Maduro.

A photo of Trump observing the military operation in Venezuela is accompanied by the message "don't play games" - echoing comments by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who issued a warning to other countries.

"Don't play games with this president," he warned.

The post includes the text: "President Trump is a man of action. If you didn't know, now you do."

A similar message appears in another post on X, repeating the lyrics of the song by American singer The Notorious BIG.

The post includes a video of a speech by Maduro in 2025, in which he challenged the US to follow him. /Telegraph/
