Domestic violence, in Malisheva two police officers who intervened in the case are also attacked

Kosovo Police has announced several cases of domestic violence reported to law enforcement agencies.
Cases of violence have occurred in Peja, south of Mitrovica and in Malisheva.
According to the police report, police officers who intervened in a domestic violence case were also attacked in Malisheva.
Below is the police report:
Peja / 04.02.2026 - 23:00. The Kosovar suspect was arrested on suspicion of having exercised psychological and physical violence against the Kosovar female victim. The victim was offered medical treatment at the Peja hospital, while the suspect, after being interviewed and in consultation with the prosecutor, was released under regular procedure.
Malisheva / 05.02.2026 - 11:00. The Kosovar suspect has been arrested on suspicion of having committed violence against the Kosovar female victim. During the arrest, the suspect was violent, resulting in injuries to two police officers. In connection with the case, the police officers received medical treatment, while the suspect was sent to the UCCK psychiatric ward for treatment. The prosecutor has also been informed and consulted regarding the case.
Mitrovica South / 05.02.2026 – 17:59. The Kosovar male suspect has been arrested after allegedly physically assaulting the Kosovar female victim and then threatening the Kosovar male victim. The suspect has been remanded in custody by the prosecutor's decision. /Telegraph/
