The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held two important meetings today in the framework of preparations for the early elections of December 28.

In the first meeting, President Osmani received the US Chargé d’Affaires in Kosovo, Ms. Anu Prattipati, with whom she discussed the latest developments in the country and the upcoming electoral process. The President emphasized that Kosovo remains committed to organizing an exemplary electoral process, respecting the highest democratic standards.


Both sides also discussed the session of the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, where developments in Kosovo and the region were addressed, as well as various topics of bilateral cooperation. President Osmani reiterated her full commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership with the United States of America.

Meanwhile, in a special meeting, President Osmani received the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Kreshnik Radoniqi. The latter informed her about the progress of the preparations and organizational tasks being carried out by the CEC in the framework of the elections of December 28, 2025.

The President underlined the importance of guaranteeing a regular, transparent and inclusive process, and expressed the willingness of institutions to support every step that ensures the integrity and credibility of the elections.
