The Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica - Serious Crimes Department, has requested from the Basic Court in Mitrovica the detention of the defendant with the initials BD, due to suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of "Aggravated Murder", as well as "Unauthorized Ownership, Control or Possession of Weapons".
According to the Prosecution's announcement, it is known that the defendant BD, on March 23, 2025 at around 20:30 p.m. on 'Galip Badivuku' street in Vushtrri, intentionally deprived the victim with the initials AZ of his life, by shooting and hitting him at least three times in the body with a pistol-type firearm, where the victim, as a result of the wounds received from the firearm, died in the Emergency Department at the Vushtrri Hospital.
"During questioning, the defendant admitted to committing the criminal offense. The hearing for determining the defendant's detention will be held at the Basic Court in Mitrovica," the announcement states. /Telegraph/
