Political analyst Ilir Deda has commented on the arrest of Fatmir Sheholli, describing it as the strongest case ever where a person known to have had ties to Serbian state security has been arrested.
Guest on the show Rubicon IN Clan of KosovoDeda said that the espionage charge must be proven with accurate evidence, according to the Criminal Code, but added that it appears that Sheholli has returned to cooperating with the Serbian Intelligence Agency (BIA).
"It seems that Fatmir has returned to collaborating with the BIA and is involved in the sudden leak of videos related to the fight against Nenad Rašić and other people who are not in line with the Serbian List on the eve of the local elections," said Deda.
He added that, according to some information, Sheholli's activities are active and that the Special Prosecution Office must have clear evidence of this.
"I believe they have evidence and they will let everyone know," he said.
Further, Deda criticized the political class in Kosovo, saying that it has rehabilitated Sheholli without any clear reason.
"Kosovo politics has rehabilitated the name of Sheholli, like many others we know and many others we don't. I don't know why, but I believe it will be learned in the future," the analyst added.
