David Luiz picks England star who is on 'another level'

Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender David Luiz has said that England star Cole Palmer is on 'another level'.
Palmer has had a rapid rise over the past 18 months, going from a starting player with little contribution at Manchester City to a Premier League superstar.
The beloved and talented player made 41 appearances for his boyhood club Man City before completing a €40m move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023.
Given the lack of minutes under Pep Guardiola, that fee raised some doubts, but Palmer has proven to be an excellent deal for big-spending Chelsea.
Palmer was named the Premier League Fans' Player of the Year and Premier League Young Player of the Year after a successful first season at Stamford Bridge and has continued to impress this season with 14 goals and six assists.
Luiz has described Palmer as a world-class player - even comparing him to Chelsea legend Eden Hazard.
"Cole, like Eden, is on another level, he is a world-class player," the Premier League and Champions League winner told The Sun.
"He made a difficult decision to leave Man City and it was the right decision for him. Everyone can now see the great player he is. I'm enjoying watching him play."
"He's intelligent and intelligent players are hard to mark. He would have played in my Chelsea teams of 2012 and 2017, for world-class players there is always a place," Luiz said.
Luiz spent most of his Premier League career at Chelsea, but also had a spell at their London rivals, Arsenal.
Finally, he said that he also likes the duo of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo on the current Chelsea team, while adding that Nicolas Jackson and Robert Sanchez have the potential to improve going forward./Telegraph/
