The date and location of the long-awaited fight between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather have reportedly been confirmed.
In November 2024, Tyson, at the age of 58, returned to the ring to face Jake Paul, an American YouTuber turned boxer, in a duel that took place in Texas, which was broadcast live on the popular Netflix platform.
As expected, the younger Paul emerged victorious, as he was declared the winner by unanimous decision after the full-distance bout.
Meanwhile, Mayweather, 48, last fought in August 2024 against John Gotti III. No formal winner was declared.
During his professional career, Mayweather has never lost, winning all 50 fights, 27 of which by knockout.
The American legend has held titles in five weight classes, including Super Featherweight, Lightweight, Light Welterweight, Welterweight and Light Middleweight.
According to Ring Magazine, the match is "tentatively" scheduled to take place on April 25 in Congo.
"The fight between Mike Tyson vs Floyd Mayweather is tentatively scheduled to take place on April 25th in Congo," the well-known website wrote. Inside Ring Show.
