Cristiano Ronaldo continues his "rebellion", missing against Al Ittihad

Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo will not even appear in the match against Al Ittihad on Friday as a sign of protest.
Ronaldo has "rebelled" with the leaders because they have decided to strengthen rival teams like Al Hilal, yet refused to invest in Al Nassr in the winter transfer window.
Karim Benzema's move to Al Nassr was the "culmination", so Ronaldo decided not to appear at all in the recent victory over Al Riyadh, where Sadio Mane's goal made the difference.
Al Nassr must manage without Ronaldo in their next match against Al Ittihad, with journalist Fabrizio Romano confirming that the Portuguese will not feature.
"Cristiano Ronaldo will be absent for Al Nassr in their next match against Al Ittihad on Friday."
"As revealed on Monday, there are no problems with staff or management, he is not injured or has any physical problems. He remains angry with the leaders of the Professional League for how they are managing some clubs," he writes, among other things.

It remains to be seen how many more matches Ronaldo will miss, as he celebrates his 41st birthday today. There have also been reports in the media that he could retire after the 2022 World Cup, or return to Europe.
Ronaldo remains the all-time leading scorer, with 961 career goals, and has set himself the goal of becoming the first player to reach 1 goals.Telegrafi
