The Prosecution and Police announce that criminal charges have been filed against 33 individuals and 2 companies for corruption and economic crime.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announces that during the action in Skopje, Kumanovo, Negotino, Veles, Pehcevo, Probishtip and Kocani, 11 people were arrested, while two others are being sought.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, during 2023, a group of officials from EMV Distrubuimi i Grohjes and administrators of two companies manipulated a public tender for monitoring equipment for heating stations. Also, according to the Prosecution, the group laundered and transferred 125 million denars (about 2 million euros) to hide the source and ownership of this money.

The Basic Criminal Court in Skopje has imposed pre-trial detention on 7 people, while security measures for presence have been imposed on 6 others.
