Fier police have discovered a criminal base in the city's Kastrioti neighborhood, where an arsenal of weapons, weapon parts and ammunition was kept, with the aim of selling them to the criminal contingent for the commission of crimes against the person.
Following information received from an investigative show, the police arrested citizen MR, 38 years old, resident of Fier, who was stopped while driving in the "Kastriot" neighborhood. During the search of the vehicle, 1 firearm, a pistol, which was possessed without a permit, and an amount of money of approximately 3,500 euros were found and seized.
Subsequently, the Police services conducted in-depth investigations into the criminal activity of the 38-year-old, and as a result, they enabled the discovery of a house (currently uninhabited) in the "Kastriot" neighborhood, which this citizen used as a base for weapons, weapon parts and ammunition, suspected of being sold to criminal groups.
From the search in this area, the following were found and seized:
-10 automatic firearms, 3 of which were modified with optical sights and threaded holes for silencers;
-1 firearm pistol;
-1 automatic pistol firearm;
-2 silencers;
-9 automatic loaders;
-3 rifle magazines;
-2 pistol combs;
-quantity of cartridges of different calibers.
At the conclusion of the first procedural actions, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Fier Police Commissariat arrested citizen MR in flagrante delicto, and in the meantime, they continue to conduct investigations, in coordination with the Fier Prosecutor's Office, to identify and bring to justice other citizens who may have been implicated in this criminal activity. /Telegraph/
