The Central Election Commission (CEC) is continuing today the process of counting the remaining part of the votes received by mail for the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo 2025.

According to preliminary data published by the CEC, 99 out of a total of 114 packages of votes from the diaspora have been counted so far, accounting for about 86.84 percent of the total number of postal votes.


The results so far show a clear lead for the Vetëvendosje Movement, which has secured 72.97 percent of the votes, or 21,103 votes.

In second place is the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 9.86 percent or 2,852 votes, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 9.33 percent, which translates into 2,699 votes.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) received 3.82 percent of the vote, while smaller parties, such as the Egyptian Liberal Party and the New Democratic Party, secured under one percent each.

The CEC announced that the counting process is taking place at the CNR as planned.

Officials have emphasized that the final results will be published only after the completion of counting all votes and handling of any potential complaints. /Telegraph/
