The construction of the second tennis court in the "Manchester" Peace Park in Podujeva has begun, a project that will be realized with an investment of approximately 180 thousand euros.
The ceremony to kick off the works was attended by the Mayor of Podujeva Municipality, Shpejtim Bulliqi, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, MP Saranda Bogujevci and the Director of Culture, Youth and Sports, Vlora Humolli, reports Telegraph.
Mayor Bulliqi said that the new field will be built according to international standards and is expected to be an important sports asset for the city, which can also be used for the Mediterranean Games to be held in Kosovo.
"Congratulations to the athletes and all citizens," said Bulliqi, emphasizing that this is another step towards the development of sports infrastructure in Podujeva. /Telegrafi/
