Composer Rafet Rudi: There is a terrible degradation of music, they are hiding under the name "modern music"

The well-known composer and university professor, Rafet Rudi, in the show "Histori Suksesi" on RTV Dukagjini, has confessed things about his life and career.

He was born in Mitrovica, taking his first music lessons. He continues high school in Pristina, while graduating in Conducting and Composition at the Academy of Music in Belgrade.

He continued his postgraduate studies in Sarajevo, and specialized in Paris. Today he is a professor at the Academy of Music in Pristina.

Rudi says that until recently he wrote critical articles about music, especially about popular music festivals, but according to him, recently it is no longer worth dealing with criticism since the state of Albanian music has degraded too much.

"I didn't think that popular music would come to this stage. Regardless of the fact that there are valuable creations or new artists", he said, Telegrafi reports.

The composer says that the problem is the mediums that give space to songs without values.

"Radio stations do not have filters, as Radio Prishtina used to have. This is a big problem. The fact that someone makes bad music does not make him accused, but he must be controlled. Tasteless music is cracking."

Rudi accuses broadcasting stations in Kosovo of releasing music without any kind of taste, which according to him are hiding behind the terms "modern music".

"There is such a terrible degradation and tasteless unification of music shows that they pretend to be modern music. I also listen to French stations, but nothing like this happens", said Rafet Rudi, among other things.Telegraph/
