The capital continues to face traffic jams, creating traffic jams, and the Municipality of Pristina has said that the projects they are planning could help improve this situation.

Pristina Municipality Spokesperson, Donat Lushaku, in an interview with Ekonomia Online, outlined the steps the municipality took, but highlighted peak times when traffic jams are difficult to manage.

"Yes, the problem with traffic jams is an ongoing problem. So, for years, in some cases it has been more present, in some cases less so. Some steps have been taken in this direction, in the sense that major infrastructure projects are being developed, such as the 'A' road, the continuation of the 'B' road that has already been completed, then the inner ring road, and with the completion of these projects, I believe that we will then have a better Pristina in terms of traffic. Even at this time, only at some peak times are there larger traffic jams, while at other times there is more traffic, let's say, and not as dense," said Lushaku.

Lushaku mentioned the projects that the Municipality of Pristina has undertaken to facilitate roads.

"As I said, these infrastructure projects that are distributed in several directorates will facilitate the process. I mentioned it and I'm mentioning it again: the inner ring road, the 'A' road, the continuation of the B road that is being completed and is almost finished and then connects to the A road, and of course the largest and most important infrastructure project that is also related to the support of the central level, which is the outer ring road," he said.

The projects are expected to be completed during the 4-year mandate of Mayor Përparim Rama. /Telegraph/
