The international youth empowerment program "Coca-Cola Youth Empowered", implemented in partnership with Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK), has marked an extraordinary success this year in Kosovo.
Organized in some of the largest cities outside of Pristina, the program gathered hundreds of enthusiastic young people, concluding the most successful edition of the program with a massive participation of young people in the city of Podujeva.
This major program comes as part of Coca Cola HBC Kosovo's mission to support young people in developing professional and personal skills, by offering practical training on leadership, future skills, artificial intelligence, motivation and career orientation with some of the most professional names in the field.
Renowned lecturer Shpend Ahmeti, speaking about the importance of this program, emphasized the impact that such an investment can have on young people:
“Programs like Coca-Cola Youth Empowered create new spaces for Kosovo’s youth to learn, develop, and believe more in themselves. This energy I saw in Podujevo is proof that our future is in good hands.”
The youth energy and high participation clearly showed the need for more such initiatives in municipalities outside the main center of Pristina. The youth of Podujeva had the opportunity to interact with experts from different fields, attend interactive trainings and create new professional connections.
Among the participants, the enthusiasm was evident.
Arta, 19 years old, stated: ""This is the most inspiring activity I have ever attended in Podujeva. I learned things that they don't teach us in school, especially about careers and the new skills we need for the future to be as prepared as possible for the job market."
Even for Drito, a 21-year-old student, the program was an extraordinary opportunity:
“I expect a lot from this program, especially from the mentoring and professional connections. I think such an investment in young people can change the course of professional development for many of us.”
With this successful event in Podujeva, Coca Cola HBC Kosova and ICK continue their journey to empower the young generation of Kosovo, making “Coca-Cola Youth Empowered” one of the most high-impact programs for youth in the country.
The Podujevo edition marks the end of the program cycle for 2025, after successful events in Pristina, Gjilan, Gjakova, Suhareka and Mitrovica. The massive participation and high interest of Kosovo's youth is also a testament to the dedication of the lecturers involved, the attractive topics and the organization of the activities.
Coca Cola HBC Kosova and ICK will continue the implementation of this program, committing to another substantive and inclusive edition in 2026.
