The Vice President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Vlora Çitaku, has reacted sharply to the decision of the acting Government to distribute 100 euros to students just three days before the local elections.

In a post on social media, Çitaku described this action as "abuse of citizens' taxes for electoral purposes", accusing the acting prime minister and also the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Albin Kurti, of manipulating public money on the eve of the elections.

"This is what the abuse of taxes of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for the electoral needs of the chairman of the LVV looks like. Just three days before the elections, with the money of impoverished citizens, for whom he has made electricity more expensive to serve the energy mafia, he distributes 100 euros to students. This is neither social care nor support for youth. It is fraud. It is manipulation. It is irresponsibility. And above all, it is panic," Çitaku wrote.

According to her, this action shows that the current government is in panic and is using public means to influence voters on the eve of the elections.
