Christmas Day lottery drawing gives Illinois woman $350,000 prize

An Illinois woman received a "Christmas Day blessing" when she won a huge $350,000 lottery prize over the holiday.
The winner, who nicknamed herself "Working Mom," told Illinois lottery officials that she purchased her Lucky Day Lottery ticket online, using her own set of numbers.
"Everyone at my job calls me 'Working Mom' since I'm the oldest," said the winner.
The woman said she was watching television when she received an email about her win, the Telegraph reports.
"At first I thought it was a problem. I almost had a panic attack - I immediately checked the Illinois Lottery app to make sure it was real," she said.
The ticket matched all five numbers in the Christmas Day drawing, winning her a prize of $350,000.
She said the numbers on her ticket represented family birthdays.
"I felt optimistic when I played those numbers. It turned out to be a Christmas Day blessing," the winner said.
The player said her winnings will go towards funding her retirement, her daughter's education and family vacations.
"We are completing an important item on my husband's wish list. We are going to Alaska," she said. /Telegraph/
