The Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, has signed several changes in leadership in local police structures.
According to sources for Euronews, Vilson Bala has been appointed Director of the Korça Local Police Directorate.
Islor Islami has been temporarily appointed Director of the Lezha Local Police Directorate and Afrim Tafa has been temporarily appointed Director of the Durrës Local Police Directorate.
The Director of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, Director Fatmir Hoxha, for the high results achieved during the end of 2025 at the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, the General Director of the State Police, Director Madhor Ilir Proda, has revoked his resignation, and for this fact he will continue in his position as Director of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate.
