Chamber of Engineers assembly fails due to quorum

The Kosovo Chamber of Engineers was unable to hold its regular assembly due to lack of a quorum.
The President of the Chamber of Engineers of the Republic of Kosovo, Arsim Rapuca, announced that the forum cannot continue due to the lack of the necessary number of members according to legal requirements.
"The Assembly has a quorum when more than half of the members participate in the meeting, this means that according to the Law on Orders, Article 12, paragraph 1, in order to have a quorum to continue the work, we must have 427 members in the hall. Based on the identification number from the administration, it turns out that we have 348 members, we do not have a quorum to continue, we cannot continue, based on the law, we will see how to organize it next time, or after a while we will call you again. Here, whoever has taken the law that all members of the licensure must be part of the assembly, we will see how to work with a way to change the law," Rapuca emphasized.
Otherwise, this assembly was scheduled to present the annual report, as well as discuss the implementation of the annual work plan, building the institutional capacities of the chamber, licensing and regulating the profession in the field of construction, digitalization of services and inter-institutional cooperation, and the preparation of internal acts.
